Notice in verse 30–nothing can subvert God’s plan.
In verse 35, see how hard the Pharisees’ hearts are, that they can’t understand Jesus’ words.
How can we make sense of verse 39, “the Spirit had not yet been given”?
In verse 50, Nicodemus turns up again, and we see him showing great courage.
The Pharisees were wrong in their answer in verse 52. What is significant about the answer?
