God has blessed the whole human family of every place and time in Easter, when Jesus completed His work of redeeming us from the curse of the law.
“Law” is a description of how reality works. Every religion knows something of the law and that life depends on satisfying what the law requires. Every religion has teachings and leaders who work to inspire our efforts to keep the law. Only one religion knows of a God whose nature is such that the Son of God would become fully human also in order to be our substitute under the law, and rise from the dead, having satisfied the law for us, and provide the means of grace by which He removes all that is wrong and conveys to us His own life. EasterTIDE refers to the fifty days from Easter to Pentecost where we turn from the Lenten contemplation of our deep need for a Savior to the Savior’s boundless grace that provides for every need.
