Two angels arrive in Sodom. Lot presses them to stay in his house; all the wicked Sodomites press against Lot’s door in order to abuse them. Lot’s two natures are evident and expose our own. God shows patience and the difficulty of Him saving us from ourselves as the angels must take Lot and his family by the hand and bring them out (the same will be said of Israel in Egypt).
